The Second International Creative Camp for Children NucKids 2010 has opened its doors today. Young talents from 23 cities of 4 countries gathered in the holiday village near Moscow. Despite the fact that each of them has come a long way today, there is no trace of fatigue on their faces, the kids are fresh and full of energy, they are overwhelmed with emotions. “I really want to start rehearsals as soon as possible,” says Viktor from Ozersk. “This is my second time here and I consider it an incredible luck, as few people have managed to take part in this magnificent project several times.” “Yes, it’s very cool here! And we’re all very cool here!” – joins Danil from Kurchatov, “And they also cook incredibly tasty here,” adds his friend Zhenya, and, admittedly, he is not alone in this statement. The guests from India were somewhat surprised by the Moscow heat. “Plus 35? – Roje Gori is surprised, – Who would have thought it! Anyway, we’re very excited and proud to represent India on this project.” “It’s always so interesting to see different cultures! – continues her roommate Jodi Sri. – We hope to have a tremendous cultural exchange experience here. The kids from Russia are very friendly and I think we’ll all have a great time here.” “Unbelievable! The city is absolutely stunning!” exclaim Martin, Blagovest, and Viktor from Bulgaria in unison. “This is our first visit to Moscow, and it is enough for us to fall in love with this amazing city forever.” “What are the girls here! They’re just fantastic!” adds Viktor, with enthusiasm. The kids all laugh together, then shyly lowered their eyes. It seems that the Bulgarian trio are genuine admirers of Russian beauty, and they aren’t just throwing words around – just a couple of hours after their arrival, some of the participants were already proudly wearing wristbands and scarves with Bulgarian symbols. On the very first evening, the project’s general producer, Nikolay Stepanov, introduced the kids to the creative team and the teachers of NucKids 2010, who will be helping the participants realize their artistic ambitions throughout the project. That’s how the first day came to an end.
