IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FOREIGN PROJECT PARTICIPANTS

Dear foreign participants of NucKids 2013,

We inform you that this year the preparation for the project and its first tour will be held in Hungary and Czech Republic from July 6 to August 5. Then, from August 6 to August 16 the project tour will be held in the following cities in the Russian Federation: Tomsk, Saint Petersburg, Sosnovy Bor and Moscow.

Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation will cover all the expenses related to accommodation and transportation of Russian and foreign project participants on the territory of the Russian Federation, Hungary and the Czech Republic.

Children from Ukraine, Hungary, Bulgaria, India, Turkey, South Africa, Korea, France, Vietnam, the Czech Republic and Bangladesh will take part in the NucKids 2013.

Regarding the arrangement for obtaining Russian visas for foreign participants, we would like to inform you that ROSATOM has sent a letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation requesting assistance in expediting the visa process. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will send telexes to the Russian consulates in the respective countries within the next week, authorizing the issuance of Russian visas for foreign project participants. As soon as we receive the telex numbers, we will inform you via email.

Regarding the process of obtaining Hungarian visas for foreign participants, we would like to inform you that on June 11th, 2013, an invitation from the Director of NPP Paks will be sent to all consulates of the respective countries to expedite the issuance of Hungarian (Schengen) visas for all foreign project participants. We expect that you will be able to receive your Hungarian visas by the end of next week. We assure you that as soon as we receive information about the visa status, we will notify you via email.

Please plan your arrival to Hungary, Budapest on July 6, 2013. At the airport of Budapest, Tatiana Kern will meet you with a NucKids 2013 sign. We will organize transfer from the airport and accommodation in the hotel Canada, where all foreign participants will wait for the arrival of the main group from Russia (project participants, administrative and creative team), which will arrive in the morning of July 7, 2013. All this time our representative in Hungary, Tatiana Kern, with a group of interpreters will stay with the children. On July 7th, bus tours around Budapest are planned for all participants of the project. In the morning of July 8th, everyone will leave for the main project site in Keszthely on Lake Balaton.
