“NucKids – 2013”: the year under the badge of journalism
13.07.2013
“What is that – PR? How can you leave your competitor behind while chasing the exclusive news? What do you need for the victory in the informational war?” – when you hear the conversations among the teachers and participants of the project at the rehearsals and in the corridors, you can think that you wander into an intensive course “How to become a sharkey journalist for 24 hours”. The complete immersion into a complicated and magnetic world of mass-media can help “NucKids” to understand the play that is about a school newspaper.
While the children who have got the main parts are playing the journalists on stage, other participants are trying themselves in this profession. This year a children’s press-center has been organized for “NucKids”.
More than 20 participants of the project have decided to be newspaper reporters and announcers. On the site “nuckids.ru” you can find the video-rubric “the weekdays of NucKids”, where the newly-fledged TV-hosts tell how they’re spending their time at one of the best projects in the world. Evgenij Melnichenko, Roman Larin, Nadezhda Molokanova, Natalya Laktionova, Petr Kostikov, Marina Dudorova and Lev Kajgorodcev were the first ones who checked the format that was created by the participants from the previous years.
But not everybody is dreaming of becoming TV-stars. Artem Titov, Lev Kajgorodcev, Pavel Dmitrienkov, Kirill Makuhin, Valerya Grinenko, Egor Kashcheev, Anna Dolgova, Lola Mirsayapova, Liza Zima, Liza Matveeva, Zlata Novoselova, Andrei Korchukov, Alina Kononenko, Gleb Borisov, Petr Kostikov, Alexandra Pishchugina, Colleen Kaufmann, Dasha and Natasha Nikolaevy, Lada Kasatkina have enough courage to take pens, notebooks, dictaphones, laptops and tablets into their hands.
Children attend master-classes where they’re getting acquainted with the peculiarities of working in the press, on TV and in the internet-media and they’ve already started collecting the material for the first issue of the newspaper. Nobody knows yet how it’s going to be titled. But knowing the creative talents of the project we can be sure that they’ll figure out something very interesting.
