The diary of a participant, July 5 and 6.

The first day (5.07.2014)

Hey, now our company is sitting at the airport and doing nothig, despite there is wi-fi we are just waiting for the rest and looking forward to the project. you know the first thing that we will do at the hotel is having dinner. New kids are still coming, from Ekaterinburg, Turkey. To quote our leader Vitya: ” It seems that i live here, at Pulkovo airport”. We meet a boy from the Ukraine, Misha Yudin, he tells us about the situation there, we are nearly to cry, but let’s think about better things) there is our bus! so starts the adventure!

The second day (6.06.2014)

We will see Saint Petersburg today!
The excurssion lasted for 8 hours, it was tiring but unforgettable. The bus full of nuckids left Repino for Saint Petersburg in the morning, there we had a magnifisent boat trip, the guide told us a lof of interesting things on the way, the first stop was Fontanka river and boat trip, we made hips of pics. We saw different Universities,  monuments even one to the bird “Chigik Pigik”, that “flew away” for nine times already, we crossed the bridges, where you could make a wish. In an hour we left the boat though wanted to stay, and went to the house, where Pushkin used to live, with his monument in the garden. Also we visited Menshikov’s Mansion and Michailovskii’s house, but it might take ages to describe them. I would rather to tell about Kunstkamera, it’s amazing and absorbing but a bit scary. I wonder how this collection was gathered, there beautiful fragile vases and  ugly parts of the body and mutations at the same time.  It wasn’t a waste of time in any way. Especially with Nuckids. I advise everybody to visit Saint Petersburg one day. Good luck!
