Project diaries are back again

Another issue of the NucKids 2018 Project Diaries. Atomic artists will again tell you how they live and how they work on a new musical. Vitaly Korolev from Udomlya once played the role of journalist again.

“The morning began with very pleasant news – there will be no exercises. The whole day I was at vocal lessons, where we learned the final song. This year it turned out to be very lyrical and touching. Composer Ilya Efimov and director Vladimir Karabanov tried very hard, and all the songs turned out beautiful. We finished the songs and moved on to recording at the studio, the most important stage for vocalists. After dinner we had a pleasant surprise – the Celebration of Nations, which we were all looking forward to. The project gives a lot of impressions and I’m glad to be here!”

Anna Simakova, 15 years old from Ozersk

“The day was very calm. Without any incidents. I was free from rehearsals in the morning and was able to watch the 2013 musical. Shortly before lunch, I learned that today would be the Celebration of Nations. The question of how I could represent my country did not linger for long. It was decided to read a little-known poem that describes Belarus at different moments of history. In the evening it was interesting to listen to the history of Hungary and Bangladesh. And when we saw Indian dancing, the hall just exploded. Everyone shared only positive emotions at the camp fires.

“In the morning we went to Maxim’s rehearsal. We practiced all the dances, which are awesome this year, unusual pop dances. Everything worked out very well for us. We quickly finished and began to prepare the performance for the Celebration of Nations. In our repertoire we have ready-made pieces, which we arranged to the music. It is always a responsibility to represent your country, and I think we did it well. We have only bright positive memories of this incredible day”.
