NucKids Project 2019 begins!

Dear friends,

First, let me wish you all a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! We sincerely wish you all health, happiness, luck, joy and prosperity!

A huge thank you to all of you for what you have done in 2018. First, the magnificent musical Lomonosov’s Scroll, which premiered in Tolna, Sexard (Hungary), as well as in Ozyorsk, Snezhinsk and Moscow. Second, the shooting of a movie based on the musical, which will premiere very soon. Third, a wonderful performance on the Day of the Nuclear Industry Worker. And finally for the New Year’s holiday performances at ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation. About three thousand children of nuclear workers from Moscow and Moscow region learned about the adventures of Boy 972.

A special thanks to those of you who have already grown up and do not forget that once upon a time a little adventure called the Nuclear Kids project of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation happened to them. Probably the participation in the project showed some of you the direction in life. In our turn, we always keep the fingers crossed that you will become a superstar in the field you have chosen.

We can talk about the achievements of the NucKids Project for hours, because all these achievements are yours. And you’re trying hard! And you succeed. Thank you all!

However, let us not rest on our laurels. Time moves on, and… We start a new, XI season of the International Creative Project for Children Nuclear Kids!

Starting today, the Nuclear Kids project opens its doors to new participants.

Dear new participants of the project,

As you know, in March-April of each year, regional auditions of our project are held traditionally. According to our tradition, today we start to accept preliminary applications for participation in the project.

To understand in which cities we are most welcome, and where, thus, the regional selections will take place.

We would like to remind you that participation in the project is open to children of employees of Russian nuclear enterprises and residents of the ROSATOM host cities where our enterprises are backbone companies. Kids aged from 11 to 16 are invited to participate in the project.

The regional selection takes place in the form of an interview, in which you need to show your skills in the field of vocals, choreography and acting. Additional skills (playing musical instruments, knowledge of foreign languages, etc.) are welcome, but are not decisive. The timing of the candidate’s speech should not exceed 5-7 minutes.

Do not forget to specify the city of residence In the subject of the letter. The application must include the following:

Surname, first name, patronymic of the candidate
City of residence
Date of birth (date, month, and year)
Full number of years as of September 01, 2019
The presence (absence) of a foreign passport, the validity of which expires no earlier than March 01, 2020.
Parents’ place of work
Surname, first name, patronymic of dad or mom
Parents’ contact phone number
E-mail address (for working communication and the necessary notifications)

Please note that in 2019, a prerequisite for participation in the project is the availability of a foreign passport, the validity of which should expire no earlier than March 1st, 2020. The passport shall be issued and received no later than May 15th, 2019.

Let me congratulate you! Today, on January 16th, 2019, Alexey Likhachev, Director General of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation, signed an order to conduct the XI International Creative Project for Children Nuclear Kids 2020. Congratulations!
