May 9th is a holiday celebrated by the whole country!

The Second World War ended 77 years ago. This war changed the course of world history, the fate of people and the map of the world. Our people confronted the powerful attack of a highly organized and well-armed enemy – Nazi Germany and its allies. We stood our ground and won.

Every year, ROSATOM holds an event to honor veterans of the World War II and the nuclear industry. This year the participants of the Nuclear Kids Project did not pass by this event and prepared covers of famous songs of the war years: Dark Night, Immortal Regiment and Victory.

My grandfather fought on the First Ukrainian Front, reached Berlin, received two war wounds and eventually won! I would like to dedicate my speech to him today.

A large exhibition My Family’s Great Patriotic War Veterans is located near the State Atomic Energy Corporation. 138 posters tell about war heroes in ROSATOM families.

It is our task to preserve the memory of the people’s feat of arms, who by their unity and solidarity, diligence and self-sacrifice, incredible love for the Motherland ensured our peace, freedom and independence. Victory Day is a holiday that unites generations. We remember our history and are proud of it!

INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS OF THE MASTER CLASSES NucKids on Ice

We invite participants of the master classes NucKids on Ice (11-16 years old), held from December 9th to 21st in Glazov, Obninsk, Snezhinsk, Novovoronezh and Zheleznogorsk, to be auditioned for participation in the summer session of the International Creative Charity Project for Children Nuclear Kids.

How do I apply?

You need to record a video by May 31st, 2022, in which:

– Clearly state your full name, date of birth, full age and city of residence

– Perform a song in Russian and/or in a foreign language

– Recite a poem or prose

– Present a prepared dance piece to the music.

Video timing should be no more than 5-6 minutes.

You should choose at least two of the three styles (singing, dancing or acting).
