The Palme d’Or of the Cannes Film Festival

In the final part of the musical Ask Rutherford of the Nuclear Kids 2015 summer session the following words were said: “A man always takes risks if he wants to discover something new! And the whole world then starts teaching him, if he is passionate about something, and strives for his goal every day…”.

These words in the play refer to the young Igor Kurchatov, whose role was played by young Mark Eidelstein. Now, in May 2024, the movie Anora, starring Mark, won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

Mark Eidelstein was the participant of the NucKids 2015 and 2016. Graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School-studio (course by M. Brusnikin).

Mark’s first film works are: The land of Sasha, Bow, Monastery, The Righteous (Director Sergey Ursulyak)

This spring, everyone was talking about the premiere of One Hundred Years Ahead. And here is another success, which can be called a triumph for Russian actors.

Mark always attends summer musicals in Moscow. We are proud that once the project provided Mark a creative impulse to conquer new heights, gave him friends and lifetime memories. We send our greetings to Mark on his well-deserved award, wish him a successful career, new interesting projects and new big awards. Nuclear Kids project is proud of its graduates!
