The XVI International Creative Project for Children Nuclear Kids 2024 of the ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation will present the play School of Trust in Moscow.
The project has been carried out annually since 2009 by the Communications Department of ROSATOM. Children of employees of Russian nuclear industry enterprises and foreign partners of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation take part in the project. The author of the project is Sergey Novikov. During the existence of the project, children from 25 countries (India, Hungary, Bangladesh, Croatia, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Tanzania, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Egypt, etc.) have participated in it.
This year 85 talented children together with the director (Igor Morozov), choreographer (Maxim Nedolechko), composer (Igor Smirnov), conductor (Igor Razumovsky) and theater teachers staged the musical School of Trust.
School of Trust is a musical about how artificial intelligence and digital technologies have seamlessly integrated into our daily lives. We order food, watch movies and keep in touch with friends online without leaving our homes. From an early age children are captivated by adult gadgets and the devices their parents buy for them. However, this digital immersion becomes a problem for many teenagers, as they dive so much into the virtual world and lose the skill of “live” communication.
Concerned parents send addicted to virtual games and electronic devices teenagers to an exclusive retreat located in the wild forest, far from the civilization. Here, the young participants are encouraged to completely abandon the Internet and phones. Instead they will go through a real survival school and acquire the essential life skills such as arranging everyday life, getting food, constructing a shelter. Having gone through these various challenges they uncover a new real world where genuine friendship, loyalty and love open to the kids.
Would you be able to give up on your smartphone for at least a few hours?
