Nuckids in Diveevo

On September 17, the Diveyevo Boarding School held a grand opening ceremony for its new building dedicated to additional professional education, workshop facilities, and a multi-purpose sports ground.

The government has declared childhood as a national priority, the Ministry of Construction of Russia and the Public Council under the Ministry are implementing projects related to children’s career guidance.

The opening ceremony was organized by the joint efforts of the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Construction and the International Creative Project for Children Nuclear Kids, with the support of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation.

The event was attended by: Chairman of the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Construction – S.  Stepashin; Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region – G. Nikitin; President of the National Association of Surveyors and Designers (NOPRIZ) – A. Shamuzafarov; Metropolitan of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas – His Eminence George.

The festive concert program featured beloved hits by the NucKids, including Captain, Words, Clouds, Bird of Love, and this year’s final song, We Are All Together. The children also performed the legendary song March of Jolly Fellows, composed in 1934 (music by I. Dunayevsky, lyrics  by V.  Lebedev-Kumach), which is dedicated to the labor of all the construction workers in Russia.  The Nuclear Kids Stringed Instruments Quartet also performed at the event.

The trip turned out to be both eventful and productive. A vibrant autumn lies ahead for the Nuclear Kids, as they are soon scheduled to perform at the Day of the Nuclear Industry Worker and Teacher’s Day in Moscow.
