About the NucKids 2014 regional selections

The auditions of the International Creative Project for Children 2014 will be held in March and April in 13 Russian cities where ROSATOM enterprises are operating.

The first casting of the project will be held on March 31st in Nizhny Novgorod. On April 2nd, young residents of Yekaterinburg will be able to demonstrate their acting, vocal and choreographic skills to the commissions, and Novouralsk is waiting for us on April 3rd. On April 4th auditions will be held in Snezhinsk, on April 5th in Chelyabinsk, on April 9th in Krasnoyarsk, on April 14th in St. Petersburg, on April 18th in Angarsk, on April 20th in Moscow, on April 22nd in Volgodonsk, on April 24th in Novovoronezh, on April 26th in Kurchatov, on April 29th in Polarnye Zori.

Children of the employees of nuclear enterprises aged from 11 to 16 will be able to take part in the regional selections. So far, more than 450 talented children of nuclear industry employees have applied for participation, who wish to put on a musical together with their foreign peers in the summer of 2014. For those who will not be able to participate in the regional selections, as well as for children from other countries, there will be an online opportunity to be selected.

NucKids is the International Creative Project for Children of the Communications Department of the ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation, which annually brings together talented children of nuclear industry employees from Russia and Rosatom’s foreign partners to stage a bright musical show. The project aims to strengthen friendly ties between children of nuclear industry employees from different countries, develop creative skills of talented children, and popularize nuclear energy among the younger generation.
