NucKids in Bratislava and Vienna

The premiere of the musical Labyrinths of Childhood of the VI International Creative Project for Children Nuclear Kids took place in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.

Residents of the capital and neighboring regions attended the musical. The biggest surprise was to meet a Hungarian delegation, including parents of current Hungarian participants and a large group of last year’s participants too. They came specially for the premiere. The children were delighted to see them, and the Hungarians greeted everyone on another successful musical. After the premiere, the participants talked for a long time… Their conversation seemed endless as they hadn’t seen each other for a whole year and didn’t know when they would meet again. The Hungarian participants of NucKids 2013 shared how much they missed the project. The children did not waste a second, trying to make the most of their time together!

The premiere was a success. Although they did not understand Russian, the spectators were satisfied with the musical, applauded vigorously and for a long time, and some even cried out.

Immediately after the premiere, the group went to a shopping center and bought many things. The next morning, they went to Vienna by busses to catch the evening Aeroflot flight to Moscow. In the Austrian capital, they visited one of the best and the biggest zoos in Europe – Schönbrunn Zoo. Everyone was impressed and shared stories about their favorite animals. The most vivid impressions came from the bat room, where bats could land on you and cling to your hair at any moment! The kids got a big dose of adrenaline as they fully immersed themselves in the world of wildlife.

After the zoo, everyone had lunch near the famous Vienna State Opera. The group rushed to take as many photos as possible with Vienna’s beautiful buildings. Afterwards, they headed to the airport, taking a few steps closer to the Moscow premiere, which everyone is looking forward to!
