Schedule of the NucKids 2017 regional selections

The schedule for the regional selections of the IX International Creative Project for Children Nuclear Kids 2017 has been finalized.

The selections will be held:

March 9 – Nizhny Novgorod. Venue: The Nuclear Energy Information Center, 7b Semashko str. Time is from 11:00 to 16:00

March 10 – Sarov. Venue: House of Scientists, Oktyabrsky Prospekt, 34. Time is from 12:00 to 17:00.

March 12 – Glazov. Venue: Lyceum of Arts, 12a Pekhtina st. Time is from 11:00 to 16:00.

March 16 – Balakovo. Venue: 74 Leonova Naberezhnaya (building of the Antares Center, opposite the Balakovo NPP Information Center). The event starts at 12:30.

March 17th — Zarechny (Penza region) Venue: Druzhba Cultural Center, 11a Stroiteley str. The event starts at 11:00.

March 21 – Chelyabinsk. Venue: The Nuclear Energy Information Center, Sverdlovsk Avenue, 59. The event starts at 10:00.

March 23 – Yekaterinburg. Venue: The Nuclear Energy Information Center, 62 Marta str., Ural State University of Economics building. The event starts at 11:00.

March 30 – Seversk. 12.00 – Nuclear Energy Information Center, Tomsk, Lenin Square, 8 (for Novosibirsk participants); 14.00 – Museum of the History of the Siberian Chemical Plant, 119 Kommunisticheskiy Ave., Seversk.

April 3 – Angarsk. The Dancer Theater, 33 microdistrict, building 11, Horizon store from 15:00 to 20:00. 

April 6 and 7 – Krasnokamensk. April 6 – from 15:00 to 18:00 the stage of the Dauria Recreation center; April 7 from 10:00 to 16:00 – the stage of the Dauria Recreation center.

April 12 – Udomlya

April 13 – St. Petersburg. Beginning at 12.00. Address: 4 Aerodromnaya str., Pionerskaya metro station, St. Petersburg branch of the Central Institute of Advanced Training of Rosatom. Don’t forget to take the documents with you.

April 18 – Volgodonsk. The event starts at 11:00. Venue: Oktyabr Cultural Center.

April 20 – Novovoronezh. The event starts at 10:00. Venue: School No. 4, assembly hall.

April 21 – Kurchatov

April 25 – Desnogorsk

April 29 – Moscow. Time is from 11:00 to 17:00. Venue: The large assembly hall of Atomstroyexport, Dmitrovskoe highway, bldg. 2, 1.

The information is being clarified and will be announced additionally for the cities where the venue and time are not specified. I would like to remind you that children of employees of Russian nuclear enterprises and residents of cities where ROSATOM’s enterprises are located aged 11-16 are invited to the regional selections of the IX International Creative Project for Children Nuclear Kids, regardless of whether a preliminary application was submitted or not. The regional selection takes the form of an interview, during which they have to show their skills in singing, choreography and acting. Additional skills (playing musical instruments, knowledge of foreign languages, etc.) are welcome. The timing of the candidate’s speech is controlled and should not exceed 5-7 minutes.
