This year marked a historic first for the project: the Children’s Symphony Orchestra of Atomic Cities joined under the direction of conductor Igor Razumovsky.

On December 21st, 2025, the participants of Winter Fairy Tale gathered in Moscow for a script reading of the New Year’s musical, inspired by S. Marshak’s The Twelve Months.

Rehearsals started on December 22nd, with the kids learning the text, mise-en-scenes and songs, as well as casting the choreography.

On December 26th and 27th, together with the project’s composer Igor Smirnov, the kids recorded all the songs, now available for streaming everywhere.

That next evening on December 28th, all Winter Tale participants, along with members of the administrative and creative team and the project’s veterans, shot a music video for the song New Year.

From January 3rd to 8th, 2026, the performances took place in the assembly hall of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation. In total, the musical was performed 17 times, attended by more than 5,000 people, including 3,000 children of employees from nuclear industry enterprises in Moscow and the Moscow region.

The winter session of the project is a whirlwind dive into New Year’s magic, where real wonders unfold. The participants showed incredible responsibility, grit and gift, leaving audiences with unforgettable memories and faith in wishes coming true.
