The Work Begins

The morning of the second day started with sketches, auditions, and a dance casting. The teachers immediately decided to test the participants to see what they were capable of. “The main goal is to help the kids open up, to give them the opportunity to express themselves and showcase their talents,” said the project’s executive producer, Oleg Borshchevsky. During this intense creative practice, the young talents not only demonstrated their individual skills but also showed an impressive team spirit. In just an hour and a half, they transformed into a united and close-knit team, ready to take on any challenge. The team where each participant could fully rely on each other’s support and help. After lunch, Sergey Novikov, the author of the project idea, visited the creative camp. During a relaxed and friendly conversation, he gave each of the participants the chance to speak up and highlight problems that today’s teenagers believe are most critical. Topics like unrequited love, generation gap with parents, problems of rich and poor, environmental pollution, and the moral character of modern society were just a few of the topics they actively discussed. “This meeting is a very important moment for all of us,” reflected Lev Suslov from Seversk. “We clearly realized that we, the participants of this project, have a unique opportunity to create our own musical – the musical of our dreams! The script will be based on everything we talked about today.”
