A new morning and a new day. It’s 7:30 on the clock. Today, everyone is up much earlier than usual, but it’s worth it – two comfortable buses with professional guides are already waiting outside to take the group on a tour around Moscow. The participants wash up in a hurry and rush to breakfast, while some head straight for the bus: “We need to grab the best seats, or we won’t see anything,” explains Zhenya Pykhtin. Once everyone is finally settled, the driver turns the ignition key, and the bus smoothly pulls off. From the slightly crackling speaker, the tour guide voice is heard: “Moscow, the capital of Russia, is one of the largest cities in the world. It was founded in 1147. Today, it’s a rapidly developing metropolis. And we’ll get to know it better on this bus tour…” During the tour, the group learned many interesting facts about Moscow history. They visited the beautifully renovated Red Square, the restored Manezhnaya Square with its underground shopping and recreation center, saw the golden domes of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the picturesque Novodevichy Convent located in a bend of the Moskva River, and many other fascinating architectural and historical landmarks of the city. The tour ended at Sparrow Hills, where the stunningly beautiful high-rise building of Moscow State University stands, offering a breathtaking view of the city’s panorama. Rita Podluzhnaya shares her impressions: “The trip to Moscow, the bright shining sun, and our cheerful smiles turned an ordinary weekend into a real celebration! First, we visited Red Square. Some were taking pictures, others were carefully listening to the guide, and some were simply strolling around, enjoying the wonderful sunny weather. Then we went to the Sparrow Hills, where everyone could admire the stunning panoramic view of the capital. After that, we stopped by some souvenir stalls, where we browsed through various trinkets – matryoshkas, magnets, keychains, and other interesting tourist items. It was fantastic! I hope the next tour will be just as exciting and interesting.” On the way back, everyone on the bus fell into such a deep sleep that it seemed nothing could disturb their peaceful rest filled with newest impressions.
