What is the recipe of an ideal acquaintance? “To ask what time is it now and to invite for a cup of coffee”, – that is what typical representatives of the 80-s are going to say. “To give “likes” to all 40 albums on vk.com and to send a personal message”, – that is what advanced children born in the 90-s will advise. “To sing, to dance and to charm”, – that is the answer of “NucklearKids” project participants of all ages.
Every year these children make an exciting show to get acquainted with each other and teachers. This show can’t leave indifferent even the most skeptical spectators. “The evening of acquaintance” took place in “Balaton theatre” of Keszthely on the 8th of July.
“NUCKIDS” brotherhood
“Main people about main things” – this is the nomination, in which the participants of the project Vlad Tashbulatov and Daria Antonyuk, who opened the concert with a harrowing love-song from the musical “Station “Dream”, could have won Grand Prix. Last year this performance met a storm of applause in Volgodonsk, Kurchatov, Moscow and Budapest. This year the participants and the crew of the project greeted Dasha and Vlad with the same excitement. But it wasn’t enough for the maîtres of this project, that’s why they appeared on the stage with solos at the end of the evening. Vlad performed a song of a band “Take that” “Shine”, and Dasha – a song “Listen”. It’s hardly necessary to be said that both performances were accepted with enthusiasm.
After the bright start of the project the hostess of the concert, the teacher of acting technique Natalia Demina gave the “main adults” the right to speak. The author of the idea of the project, the head of Communication Department of the state Corporation «Rosatom» Sergei Novikov, greeted the participants and reminded, that though “nuclear artists” were only getting acquainted with each other, the posters of their performance were hanging in the cities of three countries.
“Somebody will act and somebody will help to set up scenery, and it is all right. But next year you will have a stimulus to get the main part too. Although it seems to me, that the way you sing and dance is not the main thing in the project. What touches me most of all, is when standing on the backstage I see the elders helping the youngers and everything works like a well organized mechanism”, – Sergei Novikov said.
“I wish the brotherhood you find in the project will stay with you for all your life. This amazing project also “absorbed” us, the workers of nuclear industry in Hungary. And we are glad that you are our guests this year”, – the representative of the receiving party, the assistant of the direction of information and work with the population at the nuclear power-station “Paksh” Tatyana Kern said.
Singing better than Lara Fabian and electrify the audience
Dasha Simonova, Masha Maslova, Kristina Kuznecova, Egor Kashcheev demonstrated how ” NucKids” can “absorb” and inspire the audience with their stunning energy.
The newcomers kept pace with the experienced participants. They differ from each other and each of them just had his or her unique personality: the main point of the Sasha Kostin’s performance was the patriotism, Vadim Povazhny, singing Lara Fabian’s hit “Malade” amused the audience with his striking manner.
“The revelations of this year” were Gleb Borisov from Novosibirsk and Ilya Karelsky from Turkey, who “shake up” the audience with their energetic rap. The twins Dasha and Natasha Nikolaevy checked the explosive power of the audience, having prepared the mix of dances under “Chiwawa”, acrobatic feats and irony. At the end of their performance the audience, that doesn’t succeed in distinguishing between the twins, saw the portraits of two similar funny cows behind the girls’ backs.
“NUCKIDS is our happiness!”
The project “Nuclear Kids” is so great not only because it gives the opportunity to display personal talents, but also to present your country. The first foreign participant that appeared on the stage was Virag Lednetcky from Hungary, who performed a touching national song about his homeland. Colin Kaufmann from the Republic of South Africa not only sang, but also played the dombra. Idil Köker and Melisa Kaboglu lighted up the audience with national dances. The group of children from the South Korea, who still remains the most mysterious country for the most participants, made it easier to understand, having sung well-known English songs.
The energetic performance of the team “Dancer” from Angarsk, that the audience got “for the dessert”, was easy to understand: the language of dance is a universal one. Having showed the first class and been greeted with cheers, the children left the stage, giving place to the main performance – the hymn of “NucKids”, that children from different parts of the world got to learn.
” I love you, “NucKids”, you are my happiness!” – the children and grown-ups were singing alltogether. It was obvious that the 2-hours-long show has given great results.
But of course it isn’t the highest point of the project where the energy is increasing every day. It means that the best is yet to come!
