The beggining of the project. Nuckids are in Saint-Petersburg.

“No we haven’t heard”- would have said nuckids about Saint Petersburg, Cabinet  of curiosities or Kunstkamera, Avrora and river Neva untill last sunday. But it has changed. The project visited all these places, where the history of our country has being created, where famous russian writers, Pushkin, Gogol and Dostoevskii wrote their best works. By the end of excursion, everybody could say that now he knew almost everything about our cultural capital. The guide was pleasantly surprised that kids wanted to learn more and that’s why asked a lot of questions.
I would like to share children’s emotionsand impressions. The brightest one was, of course, Cabinet of curiosities. They wanted to go there first andat once, but we decided to leave it for “desert” as the most expected sight. I will never forget kids’ faces at the entrance, they showed they were anxious and couldn’t wait any more, because they were so close to the unique collections. But when they got there and saw the exhibits of Anthropology, they felt a bit frustrated, some didn’t understand why these ugly dead bodies should be kept, but soon they were explained, that it was and still is necessary for science.
Also I want to add a few words about boat overview trip, it was just awesome, because you could see all the sightseeings from the river, some children said it was the best experience in their lives.
