A Flashmob

August the 17th is the holiday for relatives and friends of NucKids, who count the hours until the meeting with their beloved children, lost in rehearsals and tours. For the “Atomic” artists themselves, the day of farewell to the project was colored in the sad gray-blue color of the Moscow sky above the cruise boat where the project participants were saying goodbye.
A couple more hours and the single mechanism will slowly start to fall apart… The first kids will leave… Minus a part! Our labor – the musical, our feelings and emotions – people who will soon leave forever and leave an empty place from everything that was. That makes you want to cry.
While our boat was slowly sailing along the Moscow River, it “went to the bottom” together with us, from the sea of tears shed on its deck. The kids cried from the very beginning of the evening, one after another… This atmosphere was transmitted to everyone… At the end of the evening, after the farewell salute, everyone wept. Everyone sobbed – both adults and children. The participants exchanged threads to say goodbye. At the same time, they said everything they would like to say to a person, as if they had seen him for the last time in their lives. The children hugged each other, willing to delay the goodbye for a few more seconds, to remember the feelings that the person gave you all this time. No one wants to leave, everyone is crying, hugging… They do not believe that they will part soon, they do not believe in such a close end.
However, in a couple of hours the first kids will leave, everyone will go to see them off. Therefore, there will be bitter tears again. It is so sad to say goodbye to a person you have become soul mates with.
All these sufferings will start at 17.30, when the first part will leave, a part of the mechanism, which will never be able to be restored again, but will remain forever in the memory and hearts.
During the project, all the children have learned a lot. In addition, of course, they are grateful that they had a chance to experience all this. They are grateful to the teachers for their hard work and, of course, everyone will remember only warm, good, happy and cheerful moments of this summer. The children will remember with joy and tears all that was in these wonderful days. They will look at the photos, chat on social networks, call each other, send parcels and hope for a quick meeting for a long time to come. When we were leaving, we agreed that when we returned home, we would start working hard, so that we would definitely get to the project next year, to see the friends with whom we spent the best days of our lives!
So let us all leave our despair and sadness behind and start working! Call, chat, share your achievements, and rehearse… Work! Work! Work! Only then can we be sure that we will meet next summer!
P.S. Among other things, the NucKids 2015 Project has started on our ship. According to the results of the traditional lottery, in which all participants of the project take part, Vadim Povazhny, Olya Borodina and Andrey Smirnov became the participants of NucKids 2015. The story goes on!
