Frequently Asked Questions

Dear friends,

1. The date and place of meeting of all Russian project participants is July 7th, 2017, St. Petersburg. The hosts of the project ensure that children are met and escorted at the airport and railway stations. Please note that paying for travel to and from St. Petersburg is not included in the financial obligations of the project hosts. Please, if possible, arrive in the first half of the day, i.e. from 6:00 to 13:00.

2. The end date of the project is August 20th, 2017. Please buy tickets from Moscow on this date. Choose the second half of the day as the departure time, if possible.

3. The preparatory stage of the project will take place in St. Petersburg, in the resort village of Repino, in the boarding house Kronwell Park Hotel. After that, performances will take place in St. Petersburg, Sarov, Nizhny Novgorod, and Hungary (Kalocsa and Paks) and Moscow. 

4. The child should have with him/her:

 – sports suit and closed sports shoes (sneakers, tennis shoes);

 – shorts, T-shirts, undershirts – 2-3 sets;

 – baseball cap, headscarf or sun hat;

 – elegant clothes for evenings of rest and discos;

 – wicker shoes, sandals with a fixed heel, shoes for the beach;

 – swimsuit, swimming trunks (2 sets are better);

 – 5-6 pairs of socks or knee socks;

 – 4-5 sets of underwear;

 – pajamas or nightgown;

 – windbreaker, jeans.

 – toothbrush and toothpaste;

 – soap 

 – washcloth, shampoo, body cream;

 – sunscreen/oil;

 – comb, manicure set/scissors;

 – toiletries (for girls) 

There are special laundry rooms with washing machines in the accommodation hotel, where centralized laundry will be organized.

5. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT to take the following items with you:

 – expensive audio, video equipment;

 – expensive clothes;

 – expensive shoes and perfumes;

 â€“ jewelry made of gold, silver, platinum and precious stones. We will not be able to keep them safe in the children’s group.

 – roller skates and skateboards.

Please note that counselors DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO STORE any of the above listed items. 

6. Regarding money. Money will be needed to purchase souvenirs and small things. Children will be fully supported for the duration of the project, so money may be needed for personal use only. It is recommended to provide some money in euro (for the Hungarian part of the project). The official currency of the Republic of Hungary is euro. The project coordinators will assist kids in exchanging currency for local money, however, remember that the coordinators and employees of the project do not have the right to take valuable things and money from children for safe keeping. Please keep this in mind.

7. Regarding cell phones. It is strongly recommended to research the tariffs of your cell phone operators before you leave. All operators have unlimited call packages. For our part, we would like to draw your attention that the organizers do not provide mobile services to the project participants. However, there is a phone number, which will be listed on the website, for emergency calls. Also, free WI-FI is provided in the hotel.
