INTERNAL CASTING

The first days of the project are the most important and intense.
Exactly at this period the participants begin to understand what is happening around
and make their first steps towards the performance staging. One of such steps
is the internal competition.

To become a part of the project all the participants have passed a
strict selection. Most part of the participants passed regional castings,
someone participated in extramural castings. But today a meeting with the
creative team of the project took place.

Internal casting is the first step to the musical staging. For the creative
group this is an opportunity to understand better the young actors, to guess
what role in the musical suits them better. As for the participants, this is an
opportunity to show choreographer, the producer and the teacher of acting all
their talents.

“It was very exciting, because we first performed
directly before the creative group. I had to sing, dance, read a poem. In a
word I need to do everything to show all my talents. I had a feeling that that
it took only 10 seconds. We already managed to make friends with our teachers,
that’s why we immediately tuned in to one wave and just received a good
emotions! “

Someone was eagerly repeating the text before entering the rehearsal
room, someone joked with new-found friends and someone continually peeped over
how other guys performed. But everyone without exception was worried. Because
they were afraid to make a mistake and do not get a role.

“The members of the creative group turned out to be very friendly, open
and positive people, and I think that I can learn a lot from them. It does not
matter whether I shall have a role. We did not come here for this. This summer
will be the coolest summer in our life, so this is only the beginning! “

A few hours later the members of the creative group
managed to listen and see all children without exception. The producer noticed
that this year participants were very talented and pointed out that an exciting
rehearsal period was waiting for us and at the end of it a wonderful musical performance
called “Just a summer rain” would be born.
