Live Broadcast of the musical Winter Tale 2021

The Live Broadcast of the musical Winter’s Tale 2021 took place on December 29th.

It all started at 11:00, when schoolchildren from India, Bangladesh and Belarus sat in front of big screens and counted down to the Live Broadcast of the musical Winter Tale 2021. In India and Bangladesh the viewing was held in the schools of the Russian Embassy. In Belarus for the sake of watching our performance the lessons in 8 schools were canceled (the children were delighted). English subtitles created specially for India and Bangladesh helped the audience to understand all the details of our performance.

At 14:00 in Hungary in the Russian House in Budapest began a New Year’s program for children with the participation of Santa Claus and Snow Maiden. Children learned to color Christmas tree toys and make patterns on gingerbread, and the main event of the day was watching a musical with Hungarian subtitles.

By 17:00, all the fans of our project in Russia turned on the broadcast on their screens. Many of them watched with their families or with friends, and for some the broadcast of our musical became a kind of countdown to the approaching New Year.

We would like to note that according to preliminary estimates more than 2000 people watched the broadcast of the performance. Such live broadcasting with subtitles will definitely remain, because thanks to the well-coordinated work of the project team, foreign viewers can also see our musical and feel the New Year’s atmosphere.
