THE MUSICAL THE STAR WILL SHINE IN NIZHNY NOVGOROD!

The XV anniversary International Creative Charity Project for Children Nuclear Kids 2023 of ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation will present the musical The Star Will Shine in Nizhny Novgorod!

The project has been carried out annually since 2009 by the Communications Department of ROSATOM. Children of employees of Russian nuclear industry enterprises and foreign partners of ROSATOM take part in the project. The author of the project is Sergey Novikov. During the existence of the project, children from 25 countries (India, Hungary, Bangladesh, Croatia, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Tanzania, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Egypt, etc.) have participated in it.

This year 80 talented children together with the director (Igor Morozov), choreographer (Maxim Nedolechko), composer (Igor Smirnov), conductor (Igor Razumovsky) and theater teachers staged the musical The Star Will Shine. It took three weeks to realize this show.

The story of the musical The Star Will Shine tells about the family of fifteen-year-old Vanya who moves from a small provincial town to a noisy, flashy capital city. He enters a Moscow school, makes new friends and falls in love for the first time. And everything seems to be working out pretty well, despite the busy rhythm of big city life. But the big city is a place of huge temptations… Accidentally Vanya meets a successful blogger with the nickname Scat. Vanya learns with surprise about the potential fruits of online activity: fame, crowds of groupies, and most importantly, tons of money in the bank account. It’s enough to drive one crazy! It turns out that in order to become successful, it is not necessary to study well and work hard. Millions of page views on your account will make you a millionaire! And why not?.. Vanya decides to try to become a blogger. After inventing a charismatic image of a sarcastic prankster nicknamed Bad Boy, he instantly turns into a superstar of social media. But the sudden overwhelming success gradually poisons his spirit and yesterday’s good fellow is rapidly turning into a real bad guy… But what’s better? Millions of subscribers or one true friend? Crowds of fans or the only love? And what does it mean to be a real star?
