The XVI International Creative Project for Children Nuclear Kids 2024 has come to an end.

After yesterday’s farewell party, today 85 talented and gifted children from Russia, Egypt, Bangladesh, Hungary, Tanzania, and Belarus are already heading back to their hometowns and countries.

Behind them are weeks of rehearsals and classes with teachers, the production of a musical, studio recordings of songs, exciting events, visits to five cities (Minsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Obninsk, Udomlya, and Moscow), twelve performances, and thousands of spectators. Through these experiences, they’ve ignited the hearts of other people with their atomic energy.

Many famous guests visited the final performance of the musical School of Trust in Moscow: Sergey Novikov, the author of the Nuclear Kids project idea; Russian pop singer Polina Gagarina; Russian Honoured Artist and composer Igor Nikolaev; TV presenter Yulia Baranovskaya; director and head of the Open Theater Space Art Platform Dmitry Bikbaev; artist Alexander Kupalyan; and Russian librettist, poet, and playwright Anton Anosov.

This year was special in the NucKids history, as this project was the longest—lasting 48 days. Together, kids have passed through this incredible journey, gaining new knowledge and skills. But most importantly, they found each other and built connections that will last across time and distance. They are committed to staying in touch, maintaining their friendships, and meeting again.
