Christmas Story by Nuclear Kids can be watched online

The winter session of the XII International Сreative Project for Сhildren Nuclear Kids started on December 17th, 2020 and was held online. In 2020, due to the epidemiological situation, the project format has changed, and instead of the usual performance on stage with the audience, there was an online screening of Christmas Story video-performance.

Nuclear Kids is an annual non-commercial international creative project. Talented children of employees of Russian nuclear industry enterprises and foreign partners of ROSATOM prepare a performance with an original script within a limited period of time, and then present it in the regions with nuclear industry enterprises.

Like previous years, the preparation for the performance included acting classes, vocal training, as well as script reading and role assignment. However, we could not do without shooting in different locations in Moscow. With observance of all safety regulations shooting was carried out at the skating rink in Gorky Park, Kuskovo, the Moscow Zoo and movie pavilions.

10 counselors and 39 children from Moscow, Petrozavodsk, Vyksa, Novouralsk, Glazov, Lesnoy, Irkutsk, Zelenogorsk, Zarechny, Yekaterinburg, Sovetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Seversk, Zheleznogorsk and Angarsk took part in the winter session of the project.

The author of the script, lyrics and director (Vladimir Karabanov), composer (Ilya Efimov), choreographer (Maxim Nedolechko), cameraman (Nikolay Gilyarov), artist (Andrey Shchayev), costume designer (Anna Tekunova).

The premiere screening of the video performance Christmas Story took place on January 7th, 2021 at 12:00 and 18:00 Moscow time on Nuclear Kids’ official YouTube channel, as well as in the Vkontakte group and on the website www.atom75.ru.
