NucKids visited the homeland of the first large-scale nuclear power plant!

Yesterday morning, the Nuclear Kids arrived in Zarechny (Sverdlovsk region), the satellite city of the Beloyarsk Nuclear Power Plant named after I.V. Kurchatov.

The project participants visited the training center, where they learned about the design of the fast neutron reactor. They also visited a full-scale nuclear reactor control simulator, getting acquainted with the main components and technologies used in electricity generation management.
