The XVII International Creative Project for Children Nuclear Kids 2025 has come to an end.

This year, 95 participants performed the musical For the Flag over the Reichstag 17 times on 5 different stages.  The first premieres by the nuclear kids took place in Minsk, then they traveled to the Urals, where they visited the cities of Sverdlovsk region — Zarechny and Novouralsk — for the first time. After that, they went to the Chelyabinsk region and gave performances in Ozersk.  The final performances, as usual, were held in Moscow at the Et Cetera Theater.

Now the participants have returned to their hometowns and countries, carrying with them a treasure trove of memories, strong emotions, joyful experiences, and valuable stage skills. Parents note that the children have come back defferent — more mature and energized for further creative adventures and challenges.

This year is special for our country, as it marks two interconnected anniversaries: the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 80th anniversary of the nuclear industry.  Having overcome the most difficult trial, our country immediately faced a new challenge and was forced to fight once again for its very existence.  Therefore, the theme of the musical could be nothing other than a reflection of the historical events related to these milestone anniversaries.

The nuclear kids have traveled a fascinating path this summer, gaining new knowledge and skills.  Behind them are rehearsals and lessons with teachers, the musical production, studio recordings of songs, long travels, 5 cities, 17 performances, more than 6,000 spectators, and with them hundreds of hearts ignited by the nuclear energy of our participants.  But most importantly — they found each other, to stay connected despite time and distance, to preserve their friendship, and to definitely meet again!
