THE ROPE COURSE

What is the “Rope Course”? Most
will decide that this is something related to sports, but for the NucKids 2017
participants, the “Rope Course” is a team building course, it’s a way
to turn a group of individuals into a single team.

Every year the the NucKids leaders come up
with new tasks for the participants: jumping over the rope, throwing out the
balls with the help of blankets and plenty of other fun activities help to
unite the participants and look at their behavior in an unusual situation.

«We were divided into teams and all
together performed the tasks prepared for us by our leaders.It was necessary to pass through the web of rope, sing
team songs, dance and guess complex puzzles. And many, many more! After that,
we felt that each of us depends on the other and we can not betray a friend».

In order to make a musical performance,
the young actors need to feel each other. Your partner on the stage should be a
friend in a real life. Otherwise, the spectacor will feel a false and will
never believe what is happening on the stage.

«Most of all I liked not the tasks
themselves, but how we implement them. We made a great team, we all stood
together for one another. The game was built in such a way that if everyone
played for himself, nothing would come of it. We laid out in full while  fullfilment the tasks. After the “Rope
Course”, we could not part with each other for a long time, discussed
funny moments from the game and simply enjoyed the atmosphere of the project. I
would like such events to be held more often!»

Despite the castings and preparation for the project,
many of the participants did not even know where they would come and what would
happen. Therefore, it was very important for the leaders and the tutors to show
the participants that the most valuable thing in the project is the
participants themselves. After
all, at the end of the project, children will remember not only the roles
played, but the people who were nearby.The integration of children from different
cities and countries is the main aim of the Nuclear Kids project. A start is
done.
