ARRIVAL, DEPARTURE AND SOME MORE IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Two weeks passed. The participants of the “Nuckids
2017” project became closer to each other. You can meet friendly groups of
people taking classes here and there, discussing the last news and rumors
concurrently. But how can just an ordinary Russian guy have a conversation with
a girl, for example, from Bangladesh? Indeed this country is so far and
entirely unknown, how do the people live there. To fill up the gap in children’s
knowledges and to mitigate somehow a cultural barrier, “Presentations of the
Nations” was arranged.
“Presentation of the Nations” is arranged in the
fields of the “NucKids” project for the second time. The delegation from each
country (this year the children from 13 countries’ participate in the project) is
presented their native country; it’s traditions, main features and customs. In
addition, our foreign friends demonstrated their art abilities in national
dances and songs.
“I learned a
lot about children’s life in foreign countries. For example, it turns out that
in Czech Republic there are traditional proms with a classical pair dances. I
thought it happens just in films! Also we were told about famous Hungarian
glazed curd, which I will try, when we go there on tour.”

This Sunday night event was the most exotic and bright
during the first two weeks of the project.
National American songs, and traditional Indian dances, and even master-class
of kung-fu from our Chinese friends were performed. The girls from Belarus prepared a song on the native
language; a girl from Kazakhstan told a beautiful story about the native land
that it seemed to be a poem. And the delegations from Bangladesh and Hungary
surprised all spectators by interesting facts about their native countries. All
children were impressed by the fact how different and surprising that “abroad”
was.
“The arrival
to the project was not a simple decision to me. I left my parents and went to
such a far country as Russia for the first time. But I’m here and I like it
very much! Tonight we performed our national dance and all the participants gave
us the standing ovation. I’ve never been welcomed in such a way. It is probably
the best day in my life!”

And after all the foreign delegations has told about
their native countries, our leaders went to the to present Russia. Our leaders
and volunteers are the former participants of the “NucKids” project and they
performed a wonderful masterpiece of Russian traditional dances. They showed
the prowess of Russian traditional dance and they involved all children in such
a dance, that only the lazy one didn’t join it.
“Most of all
I was impressed by the project leaders dressed in Russian national costumes who
performed Russian folk dance. It turns out that they are very talented too! In
the end of the dance they welcomed us into the stage and we were having a
pretty good time for some time! It seems to me, that exactly such events are forming
the atmosphere of the “NucKids” project!”
Mousil Pavel,
16 y.o., Czech Republic
“Presentation of the Nations”showed
that it is absolutely unimportant, where do you live and what language do you
speak. It is important only what you feel. Atmosphere of NucKids brings
together all without exception. We are all different, but we are united by the
thirst for creativity, kindness and friendship.
