The schedule of regional selections has been finalized

Dear friends,

The schedule for the regional selections of the International Creative Project for Children Nuclear Kids 2019 has been finalized. We would like to make it clear that changes and additions to the schedule are possible. Among other things, we have reserved dates for auditions in Novosibirsk and Dimitrovgrad (or Desnogorsk). For these cities, we will extend the acceptance of applications until March 15th and after that, based on the number of submissions, we will make a final decision on whether to hold (or not) the selections.

This year we are breaking all records. The number of preliminary applications is about 200 more than last year. Consequently, the number of cities hosting regional selections is increasing this year. Two achievements at once!

The selections will take place:

March 11 –  NIZHNY NOVGOROD. Venue: The Nuclear Energy Information Center, 7b Semashko str. Time is from 11:00 to 16:00

March 12 –  SAROV. Location of the event: House of Scientists, 34 Oktyabrsky Prospekt. Time is from 12:00 to 17:00.

March 14 – BALAKOVO. Location of the event: 74 Leonova Naberezhnaya (building of the Antares Center, opposite the Balakovo NPP Information Center). The event starts at 12:00.

March 15 – ZARECHNY (Penza region). Recreation center Druzhba” 11a Stroiteley str. The event starts at 12:00.

March 19 – CHELYABINSK. The Nuclear Energy Information Center. 59 Sverdlovsk ave., 4th floor. The event starts at 11:00.

March 20 –  UKSYANSKOYE (Kurgan region). Dalmatovsky district, Uksianskoye village, school. 2a School lane. The event starts at 11:00.

March 21 – NOVOURALSK. 43 Pervomaiskaya st., Children’s Art School (also known as the Music School). The event starts at 12:00.

March 22 – YEKATERINBURG. The Nuclear Energy Information Center. 62 8 Marta st. (Ural State University of Economics). The event starts at 12:00.

March 23 – GLAZOV. Lyceum of Arts. 12a Pekhtin st. The event starts at 10:00.

March 27 – MURMANSK. The Nuclear Energy Information Center. The pontoon pier at the Marine Station, the Nuclear Icebreaker Lenin. The event starts at 12:00.

March 28 – SOSNOVY BOR. The center for the development of creativity. 43 Krasny Forts str. The event starts at 13:00.

March 29 –  ST. PETERSBURG. A branch of the Rosatom Technical Academy. 4 Aerodromnaya str. Pionerskaya metro station. The event starts at 12:00.

March 31 –  MOSCOW. The large assembly hall of ASE Engineering Company. 2 Dmitrovskoe highway, bld 1. Dmitrovskaya metro station. The time of the event is from 10:00 to 18:00.

April 04 –  SEVERSK. The hall of the School of Arts on Kurchatov Street. The event starts at 12:00.

April 5 –  ZHELEZNOGORSK. The 9-storey building of the Mining and Chemical Plant. 9 Severnaya st., 1st floor, assembly hall. The event starts at 11:00.

April 6 – ZELENOGORSK. The City Cultural Center. 1 Bortnikova str., musical lounge. The event starts at 12.00.

April 9 – ANGARSK. Modern dance theater DANCER. Angarsk 33 microdistrict, house 11. Tel.: 8 (3955) 64-50-74 ; 8 (950) 143-73-02. The event starts at 15.00.

April 11-12 – KRASNOKAMENSK. Dauria Recreation center. April 11 –  from 16:00 to 20:00, April 12 –  from 10:00 to the last participant.

April 17 – VOLGODONSK. Oktyabr Cultural Center. The premises of the former Korona cafe. The event starts at 11:00.

April 19 – NOVOVORONEZH. The assembly hall of school No. 4. The event starts at 10:00.

April 20 – KURCHATOV. Komsomolets, 13 Molodezhnaya st. The event starts at 12:00.

April 24 – PETROZAVODSK. 33 Lenin Ave. (the main building of Petrozavodsk State University, along the central staircase between the first and second floors) from 11:00 to 17:00.

April 25 – UDOMLYA. Kalinin NPP Public Information Center, 25 Popova str. The event starts at 14:00.

Once again, please remember that the schedule is subject to changes and additions, so please keep an eye on the official website and our social media accounts. Also, all those who have sent applications for participation in the regional selections will receive messages to the e-mail address indicated in the application.

We will inform you about the exact place and time of the selections additionally.

We would like to remind you that regional selections of the XI International Creative Project for Children are open to children of employees of Russian nuclear enterprises and residents of the ROSATOM host cities where our enterprises are backbone companies. Kids aged from 11 to 16 are invited to participate in the project, REGARDLESS of whether a preliminary application was submitted or not. The regional selection takes place in the form of an interview, in which you need to show your skills in the field of vocals, choreography and acting. Additional skills (playing musical instruments, knowledge of foreign languages, etc.) are welcome, but are not decisive. The timing of the candidate’s speech should not exceed 5-7 minutes. It is advisable to have a completed NucKids Candidate Application Form with you.

Please note that in 2019, a prerequisite for participation in the project is the availability of a foreign passport, the validity of which should expire no earlier than April 1st, 2020. The passport shall be issued and received no later than May 15th, 2019.

Online selections begin!

Starting today, we start an open call for online selections for the International Creative Project for Children Nuclear Kids 2019. To participate, you need to make a video presentation by April 26th and send it to us. The video presentation should include:

1. Performance of ANY modern song (verse and chorus) without a soundtrack. 2. Artistic reading of any work (poetry or prose), as well as retelling the plot of your favorite book (movie) in your own words with a mandatory explanation why you like this particular book (movie). 3. Modern dance (download the phonogram for the dance HERE or at https://yadi.sk/d/N281Xk7EqcEX1g

Additional materials (videos of performances, etc.) are welcome. Please try not to send very large files.

Please attach the NucKids 2019 Candidate Application Form to the video presentation (Download HERE). Zip it up all together and upload it to ANY file sharing site.
